Social Studies: Ireland and it's Flag

On Thursdays this month, we decided to study Ireland (since St. Patrick's Day is coming up!) To get us started, we learned about the Irish flag.


Originally I was going to have Brooklyn recreate the flag with construction paper... But, since I haven't bought any paper yet, we decided to try something different!


So, we made the flag out of Jello and Pudding instead! Brooklyn had a blast helping me to cook, mix, and layer, and then we got to enjoy a sweet treat when we were all done! It was a GREAT project, REALLY inexpensive, and tasty to boot! I highly recommend it.
